The web admin assumed office wifi. The people doing the work were in vans, warehouses, and stairwells. A browser tab is not a field product.

How it shipped

   Shared API, not a second backend

   The same catalog and jobs the desk uses. Mobile is a client, not a fork.

2. 02

   Offline-tolerant by default

   Queue the write. Sync when the radio comes back. Never pretend the tower is a given.

3. 03

   EAS, then a release path

   A build you can ship to a store, and a way to do it again next Thursday.

If it only works on office wifi, it is not a field product.

What changed
